Not needed for up to 30 days. In South Carolina, physical therapists have direct access and can provide PT ​treatment without a physician's referral for up to 30 days from the date of PT Initial Evaluation. We will accept the doctor's referral, if you have it.
After 30 days, the referral from your doctor is mandatory to continue physical therapy services.
If you have a doctor's referral, you can scan and e-mail it to us at Referrals@resumemobilitypt.com.
Your doctor's office can send the referral to us by sending the scanned copy of it to Referrals@resumemobilitypt.com.
