DOCTOR'S REFERRAL

 

1)    Is a doctor's referral needed to start virtual physical therapy services?

  • Not needed for up to first 30 days since the initial virtual PT session. In South Carolina & North Carolina, physical therapists have direct access. They can provide PT ​treatment without a physician's referral for up to 30 days from the date of PT Initial Evaluation.

  • After 30 days, the referral from your doctor is required to continue physical therapy.

SERVICE AVAILABILITY

 

1)    Why do you see the patients in South Carolina & North Carolina only?

  • We provide virtual or telehealth physical therapy services to the patients located in South Carolina & North Carolina only due to state licensure and business registration regulations.

  • Our practice adheres to the legal requirements set forth by state health boards, which mandate that physical therapists must hold a valid licensure in the state where their patients are located. As of now, we are registered as well as licensed in South Carolina & North Carolina states only.

  • Each state has its own registration and licensing requirements, as well as its own rules and regulations for virtual physical therapy. We are actively working on to add more states as we expand our services with these varying requirements!


2)    Can I receive virtual physical therapy services in my state?

  • As of now, we provide virtual or telehealth physical therapy services for the patients located in South Carolina & North Carolina states only.

  • If you don't see your state listed, please check back with us in the future as we continue to expand our service availability.

  • We appreciate your patience. We are excited to provide you with an exceptional and accessible care - no matter where you are located!


3)    What age range do you treat patients?

  • Currently, we treat patients with age ranging from 10 years to 64 years. Our comprehensive virtual or telehealth physical therapy services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each age group.


4)    Do you provide in-person PT service, such as, outpatient or home health?

  • No. As of now, we provide online virtual or telehealth physical therapy services only.

  • Our goal is to provide services to patients, who have difficulty going to in-person physical therapy due to various reasons, or have concerns about in-person home health visits, or patients who prefer to have online sessions versus in-person visits.
